Our mission at We are America the Beautiful is to build community while educating our neighbors in economics and civics. We hope to inspire citizens nationwide to participate in government, to understand their responsibility as voters, and to vote thoughtfully.
We provide an apolitical environment to address citizens' concerns and act in the local, regional, and national best interest.
Therese Melden received her B.S. from Boston University and an MBA from Northeastern University. She has worked as a Service Coordinator for the Department of Developmental Services (formerly DMR) and a Training Consultant and Partner at Innovative Concepts in Worcester. She has served on the boards of Beverly Bootstraps, North Shore Music Theatre, Sargent College at Boston University, Pingree School and Shore Country Day School.
Kim Woods attended Clark University and Babson College receiving her B.S. and MBA degrees respectively. She is a corporate strategist and has published several books about children and family. She has served on the North Shore Economic Alliance and Stoneridge Montessori boards.
